Hi, I am Hooman!

I am Hooman Javaheri ¹, a software engineer at Snap living in sunny Los Angeles. I like to build systems and data pipelines that are simple yet robust and scalable. I am a big fan of functional programming, lisp, immutable data, REPL and pair programming.

• Before joining Snap, I worked for Tinder, Stitch and RJMetrics.
• I was an adjunct faculty at Northeastern, where I received my PhD in computer science, working with Prof. Guevara Noubir. I received my BSc from Sharif University. More info here.
